The Bachelor 5

Jesse calls The Bachelor “a footnote,” sends home Trish, who will be back.
His ABC reality show stardom is, “[i]deally, a footnote somewhere along the way,” Jesse Palmer tells Morris News Service. He says, “I’d much rather be remembered for this game that I’ve been playing since I was 7 years old than a TV show that I did for two months. Football is my passion.” Of course, he’s also presently worried about his job, as the Giants have signed players who could bump Jesse out, especially after his performance last season. He does have fans in most of the people who watched last night’s episode of The Bachelor 5, though, as he finally sent Trish away. However, she’ll be back: In addition to calling Jesse her “boyfriend” and saying “It’s not over” as she left, teasers for next week’s episode show “that Trish interrupts Jesse’s overnight date with Mandy Jaye to make another play for him,” Zap2it.com reports in its recap.
