The Bachelorette’s Bob Guiney, who has lost 40 pounds and signed a book deal since his appearance on the show, will be back on ABC this fall as the star of The Bachelor 4. ABC’s entertainment president says the network received “thousands of E-mails and letters from viewers saying they wanted bachelor Bob back.” He says that originally, he didn’t want to do the show: “I told ABC I’m divorced, I’m on crutches and I’ve never been heavier in my life. I’m not sending you a tape.” Now, he’s appeared on Oprah five times. He’ll also sing at Trista and Ryan’s wedding, which will air on ABC in November.
