26 million watched the Bachelor 2’s finale, beating American Idol’s finale.
The Bachelor 2’s finale was watched by 26 million people, “ABC’s biggest Wednesday audience for any entertainment program in more than three years,” the LA Times reports. Nearly three-quarters of the viewers were women, and more than three million more people watched it than American Idol’s Sept. finale. The two-hour finale easily beat NBC’s The West Wing and CBS’ Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (which was apparently watched only by people who like to complain.
