Brad Womack calls his arrests for forging a driver’s license, public intoxication “missteps”
Brad Womack, aka Stephen Bradley Womack, aka Stephen Bradley Pickelsimer (the name of his stepfather) said that his teenage arrests were “missteps” that “have been blown out of proportion.” Tabloids revealed that Brad was arrested for such things as public intoxication, using a bad check, and forging a driver’s license.
“I’m sure I wouldn’t be the first to admit that I had a couple of missteps when I was a teenager — some 20 odd years ago. Some of the claims have been blown out of proportion but I took responsibility for my actions and took immediate measures to remedy the situation. It was just part of my growing pains back when I was still young and naïve. You learn from your experiences good and bad — and you move on. It ultimately builds character,” Brad told People.
Star Magazine reported that Brad had “arrests for carrying a forged driver’s license and public intoxication” and “was even found guilty of passing a bad check,” and E! News reported he was arrested “in 1993 in his home state of Texas for forging a driver’s license,” and received a “felony forgery/counterfeiting charge which nabbed Womack 180 days of probation.
