Jake Pavelka insists he and Vienna will “be friends”

The Bachelor 14’s Jake Pavelka thinks that he and Vienna Girardi will have a relationship in the future, despite their ugly, televised break-up and subsequent nastiness.

“I think she’s got some pretty realistic goals in life, and I wish her the absolute best. Hopefully she’ll find that guy she can spend the next 60 years of her life with,” Jake told reportersaccording to People. “I don’t have any hurt feelings over it. … The whole thing was tragic and it was sad but it happened and … it really is okay. We’ll probably let a little bit of time go by, but I’m sure someday our paths will cross and we’ll be friends.”

This may be a mature response, but it also reminds me a bit of the angry, controlling Jake from the reunion: We will be friends, whether she likes it or not.
