ArchivesABC unveiled its fall schedule this morning, and the 13th season of The Bachelor is not on the schedule.
But that’s not because the show has been cancelled, ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson told TV critics a few minutes ago. “We’re actually looking for a another Bachelor, and we’ll see how that goes,” he said.
“Casting on that show is critical,” he added, and said that they “don’t need it on the fall schedule.” McPherson said it’s good to let it “rest and come back” to “make sure that we don’t”
In response to a question about The Bachelorette 4, he said he was satisfied with the season, and that DeAnna “was a terrific choice.” However, he said “we’d like to get people participating more along the way” instead of just tuning in for the finale.
