ArchivesIf you want to date a man on TV and then break up with him a few weeks after your show goes off the air, The Bachelor is now casting, presumably for its 12th season.
The show has currently scheduled open casting calls in Scottsdale, Orlando, and Boston, and the Orlando ad says the show is looking for “beautiful ladies.” Personalities are apparently optional, as long as you can fall in love with a guy and look ravishing even when you’re crying because he just sent you home for being obsessive and crazy.
Casting in Scottsdale, Ariz., is scheduled for Nov. 10, Orlando casting will be held on Nov. 12, and Boston casting takes place from Nov. 10 to 15.
In August, casting producers were looking “an accomplished athlete, CEO, doctor, lawyer, entrepreneur or businessman,” according to a casting notice. A $5,000 finders fee was available for anyone who referred the eventual bachelor.
