Alex selects Amanda, doesn’t propose; 18 million watched the finale.
Alex Michel selected Amanda Marsh, 23, over Trista Rehn, 29, on last night’s finale of The Bachelor—but he did not propose to her. Instead, he asked her to move to California with him so they could get to know each other better. Early ratings showed that 18.1 million viewers saw the finale, a series high but still second to CBS’ CSI. According to the AP, Alex said they’re still dating, and Amanda says she’s “definitely falling in love with Alex.”
