Instead, in the conference room, when she let Chuck go, she just said, “goodbye,” stood up, and shook his hand.
Why the change? Maybe she realized that it was kind of lame. Maybe she’ll just rotate catchphrases throughout the season. Or perhaps, like the rest of us, Martha was just so exhausted from watching and listening to wannabe asshole Jim rant breathlessly, irrationally, and endlessly that she forgot her line.
