Prison didn’t totally take away the Martha we know and love, though, as she followed that by ensuring us that it was “a joke.” Oh, Martha.
The Martha we’ll see on the show is “Merry Martha,” who is perhaps happy because the prison rapes have ceased. She says we’ll be surprised by who we see on TV. “Maybe it’s time to think of me a little differently. In the last two years, people have tried to make me a dour, miserable human being, and I’m not.”
