ArchivesApprentice 6 co-star and Project Runway 3 guest judge Ivanka Trump was asked to star in The Bachelorette, she says.
Ivanka, who’s been filling in for both Carolyn and George (although not on last night’s episode), tells People magazine, “I’ve been offered tons of shows, (including) The Bachelorette.”
She doesn’t elaborate about when she was asked to do the series, although it hasn’t aired since season’s three’s finale in March of 2005.
Whenever the offer was extended, Ivanka told producers no. “I’m flattered, but that in no way furthers my objective of being a great real estate developer,” she said. Apparently, the gene for being a self-promoting media whore is recessive.
