The Apprentice 3 will be “book smarts vs. street smarts,” will debut January 20.
As we learned during last night’s second-season finale, The Apprentice 3 will abandon the men versus women format and revert instead to a battle between people with differing types of education. NBC is framing this as “book smarts vs. street smarts,” and as Donald Trump said, one team will have candidates with nothing more than a high school diploma. One other change for next season: George will only be in about half of the episodes, according to the New York Post, which profiles Michelle Scarborough, the exec who will replace George at least once. Perhaps most surprisingly, the second season will debut January 20—the same week that American Idol 4 kicks off.
+ also: The Apprentice 4 is currently casting, although they’re recycling the PDF application from the second season.
