thousands audition for Apprentice 2.
The first open casting call for The Apprentice 2 took place in New York City yesterday, and “[n]early 2,000 potential contestants…mobbed the Trump Building on Wall St.” for their shot at making it on the show. Some were able to meet Donald Trump, who sat in on one of the group interview sessions. The New York Daily News says that there was plenty of “scheming and backstabbing” already; “[a] highway-maintenance worker wrangled with a publicist over the first spot in line,” while “latecomers flashed hundreds of dollars for a coveted place near the front.” The open casting calls continue Saturday in Atlanta, Boston, and Chicago, and eventually head to Miami, Cleveland, San Francisco, Austin, Omaha, Little Rock, Portland, and New Orleans.
