The campaign to get The Apprentice an Emmy has escalated to horrifying levels: Ads encouraging a vote for the show suggest members “vote for The Apprentice or we’ll give [Omarosa] your home address.” Harsh. Reaching for Donald Trump’s ego and giving it a little squeeze, TV Guide Online asks Trump how he feels about being left out of the ad. He said, “I’m honored because NBC has featured me in more ads than probably anybody has ever been featured in. I’ve been featured so much that if somebody else can take my place once in a while, I’m very honored by it. I think Omarosa was terrific. She’s a piece of work, but she’s great.” Sigh. The only other newsworthy thing TV Guide gets out of Trump and producer Mark Burnett is reaction to The Apprentice 2 contestant Ivana’s name. Burnett says, “I loved the fact that her name was Ivana because I couldn’t wait to see Donald’s face when he had to say her name in the boardroom. Donald cannot say that name without reacting, and it’s really going to make the audience laugh.”
