Well into his gig as Donald Trump’s first Apprentice, Bill Rancic isn’t just in Chicago overseeing the construction of the new Trump Tower there. Bill tells the Chicago Sun-Times that he’s “still in the learning phase” and “working with [Trump] as much as I can and if I’m not with him, I’m with one of his main construction guys.” His title is “owner’s representative,” and he says he’s officially in charge of being “the eyes and ears for Mr. Trump in Chicago,” which does not involve “barking out orders at people—that would be absolutely ridiculous.”
