20.2 million watch second Apprentice; women’s jet ad will air Wednesday.
The second episode of The Apprentice was watched by almost 2 million more viewers than watched last week, bringing the show’s viewership up to 20.2 million. The New York Post says “[t]hat’s the best audience for a reality show since last May’s finale of ‘American Idol’ on Fox.” This week, NBC will see if that audience follows the show to Wednesday. In Colorado, a 30-second ad airing during the show Wed. will look familiar: Marquis Jet will air the ad created by the women on KVBA’s Aspen and Vail stations. Their phallic print ads won’t be used, though. Marquis’ CEO, who tells the New York Daily News that he got excited hearing Trump say his company’s name, says, “Their direction might have been wrong, but at least they’ve got moxie.”
