In a tirade at the TV Critics Association tour, Donald Trump said CBS chief “Les Moonves is the most highly overrated person in television.” This follows scheduling manuvers by both CBS and NBC; “CBS is taking several unusual steps in an effort to blunt the viewership of The Apprentice,” according to the New York Times. Adding to the fire is the Miss Universe pageant, which moved to NBC from CBS last summer; CBS says they cancelled the show, while Trump says, “If [Moonves] does say he dropped it, remind him that I have his letters” indicating otherwise.”
