Bowie quit $60K job for Apprentice, says winning is only “a bonus.”
Despite the fact that he left a $60,000 a year job to be on The Apprentice, only to get fired after the third challenge, “being on the TV show was the best experience of [Bowie Hogg’s] life,” according to The Dallas Morning News. Bowie speaks clearly for those who would easily give up a quarter of a million dollars for a “learning experience” that consisted of living with Sam and the other losers in a hotel room. He says, “A job with a $250,000 salary in New York City, especially for the type of work involved, is not a whole bunch of money. The true positive is the learning experience.” He calls winning the show a mere “bonus,” and says the real experience was getting to interact with Donald. “Trump tried to teach us something important every single time he met with us. He wanted to help us learn, grow and achieve so that we could become like him one day,” he says.
