ArchivesApprentice first season DVD is out today.
All 15 episodes of the first season of The Apprentice are available on DVD starting today. The five-disc set includes the standard extras, like audition footage and deleted scenes. The box even says “You’re fired!” when you open it, which probably won’t get old even after it plays dozens and dozens of times. David Bianculli says in his review of the DVD that the series “does hold up to repeated viewings.” But he writes that “the additional material included on the bonus disk in this five-disk set” makes it worthwhile, because it includes “extras provided by executive producer Mark Burnett [that] show how to cast and edit a compelling reality series.”
