KFC is attempting to capitalize on The Apprentice by offering the show’s runner-up a week-long gig as its CSO (Chief Strategy Officer? Chief Security Officer? Cheap Scam Offer?). The position comes with a $25,000 salary and a year’s supply of KFC food—and, conveniently for KFC, a commercial for KFC starring Trump’s last victim. Zap2it’s report on the offer doesn’t say whether KFC is doing this with NBC’s blessing (thus leaving the runner-up no choice) or is just trying to get a piece of the action.
