ArchivesNine weeks have passed since the unmitagated disaster that was The Amazing Race 8, the family edition, concluded. CBS’ previews for the show all but say, “It’s our fault. We’re sorry. Please watch this season. It’ll be just like it was before we broke up.”
Hopefully the 11 couples who make up The Amazing Race 9’s cast will offer as many occasions for laughs as the Weavers and their fellow racers did, but while traveling more than 15 city blocks.
Host Phil gives TV Guide a preview of the first two days, which includes some minor spoilers. In it, he promises that “this is just the beginning. There are still more than 50,000 miles to the finish line.”
