The last all-female team remaining on The Amazing Race 7 was eliminated last week. And in two separate interviews, Debbie and Bianca have been asked about their relationship. Debbie tells the Calgary Sun that the speculation “has turned into the big lesbian mystery.” But she says that they’re just close friends. “We both grew up in loving families and that is how we express ourselves. I just wish all people could have that same kind of friendship.” But in a later interview with TV Guide.com, Debbie, perhaps annoyed about being asked about this so much, says “it’s a shame that people have to ask questions like that because it’s obvious that they don’t have a friendship like we have and have had our whole life.” Bianca adds that “culturally, my mother is Mexican and this is the way we behave. We’re very touchy; we love each other and we’re not afraid to tell each other. Life is too short to be boring and not love with all your heart. So that’s where all the touching, kissing and loving came from.”
