The Amazing Race 7 will debut three weeks after the finale of The Amazing Race 6. The show debuts March 1 at 9 p.m. ET, three weeks after this season ends on Feb. 8. That means CBS will have aired three seasons of the show in a single calendar year—and who knows, they could bang out an eighth. Anyway, now is as good a time as any to confess that I’ve completely avoided posting a rumor about the season’s cast. Annoyed with CBS for casting Big Brother twit Alison and her boyfriend on the fifth season, and being completely over the people I’m about to name, I had heart palpitations after hearing that Survivor All-Stars couple Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich are apparently one of the teams racing. (I’ve been over them since the Survivor All-Stars finale, and dread seeing them and their little romance on my television screen again. But I will deal.) This news popped up all over after the race started in late November, being mentioned on message boards and elsewhere, like in the Toronto Sun. So, now we’re all caught up.
