CBS calls Rob and Amber “Romber,” officially announces their wedding.
Lost amid all of this Pope stuff is CBS’ official confirmation of what we already knew: Rob and Amber got married on Saturday. Yesterday, reality blurred reported an exclusive account of their wedding, which took place on Atlantis in the Bahamas. The photo CBS sent shows the happy couple at the resort. The release also confirms that “Rob and Amber Get Married,” the most creatively titled series in CBS history (“Locusts” comes in a close second), will air Tuesday, May 24. Over two hours, we’ll get “a behind the scenes look at the preparation for the wedding filmed at Atlantis, Paradise Island in The Bahamas, special surprises that they planned for each other, her bridal shower, their bachelor and bachelorette parties, their rehearsal dinner, the wedding ceremony and reception, among other events.”

But best of all, we all have friends at CBS. That’s because their press release was titled, and I am not making this up, romber_announcement.doc. Yes, the nickname used for the couple by haters and fans alike has been apparently adopted by CBS internally.
