The Amazing Race 6

CBS exec says producers made a “judgment call” about Jonathan’s behavior.

CBS exec says producers made a “judgment call” about Jonathan’s behavior.
Following the elimination of Jonathan and Victoria from The Amazing Race 6, CBS execs told TV critics that similar behavior in the future may force elimination from the race. A little late now, huh? According to the Philadelphia Daily News, “CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler said yesterday that ‘disqualification is discussed’ as a punishment for contestants who behave the way Jonathan did. … ‘That incident happened, as you know, at the mat, at the pit stop, and the producers and the cameramen were right there’ and made a ‘judgment call’ that she was not in physical danger, Tassler said.” She added, “we don’t condone that type of behavior.” CBS is apparently learning from Jonathan, as CBS previously told a viewer that “neither CBS nor the producers of the program judge the behavior or offer opinions about the relationships of the participants.”
