The possibility of an all-star edition of The Amazing Race has been floating around for a while now, with speculation that it might occur during the series’ eight season, just like Survivor. (The sixth season of the series is about to air.) And now, one of the show’s past winners confirms that there’s official talk of an all-star race.
The news comes from E! Online’s Kristin, who, for the second time in a week, provides actual information. She reports that The Amazing Race 4’s Reichen Lehmkuhl told her “they’re talking to him about doing an All-Stars version. He said he’s definitely in, even if it means going with, or up against, his ex, Chip.”
Of course, instead of providing any details about when this might take place or what it might involve, she instead turns the subject back to herself, and throws in a tired pop culture reference: “Did I mention I was just on the set of The O.C.? Does no one care? Bueller?” Damn, Kristin, try to resemble an actual columnist for a half a second. Your job is not just to brag about how you metaphorically lick the faces of the “stars” you encounter, but to use your access to actually gather and report information. But I guess that’s asking too much.
