Amazing Race’s second season is now on DVD

We knew it was coming, and now it’s official: Almost nine years after airing on CBS, The Amazing Race 2 has been released on DVD, joining seasons one and seven, the only two out of 17 to be on DVD.

The DVD is only on Amazon, and the product page shows no special features. Only the last five seasons are on iTunes, the only other way to watch previous seasons of the show.

Although season one is fantastic TV, and has memorable moments such as Joe and Bill being left far behind on the last leg, this was the season when the show found itself, from the clue boxes to having Phil Keoghan and his eyebrows on the mat for every single team.

If you’ve only watched in recent years and can’t understand what people like me are talking about when we complain about the series’ decline, watch this season and see what you think.
