Portland hosting The Amazing Race 13’s final leg, which ends today
Production on The Amazing Race 13 will likely conclude today as the teams race across the finish line in Portland, Oregon.
The show has been filming there this week. Willamette Week reports that “local mens panties proprietor, Steven Lien, of UnderU4men … was pushed out of his normal parking garage to make way for the camera crew on Monday morning.” In addition, “the show looks like it’s staging right behind Broadway’s Benson Hotel.” Confirming that, members of the production “came in to his shop looking for fresh underpants.”
The paper even posted a Google map that shows the finish line, but reports that “cops have the access road all blocked off.” Also thwarting fans attempts to learn more are alleged decoy teams racing around the city. The Oregonian confirmed the production’s presence through multiple sources, and offers some additional information.
Fan forums have been gathering details about this season, and Reality Fan Forum has a detailed route and map based on that speculation, if you want to know the destinations before the show airs this fall. If that’s correct, the whole race lasted just over three weeks.
