ArchivesCBS has ordered an eleventh season for The Amazing Race. The news comes after just two episodes of The Amazing Race 10 have aired.
Despite placing third in its timeslot, Variety reports the show has actually “helped boost the Eye’s overall fortunes on the night — particularly among younger viewers.” In other words, it may not be doing as well as its competition, but it’s doing better than the shows CBS used to run in that same timeslot.
Variety also notes that the series “has been an Emmy magnet,” winning Emmys the past four years.
