ArchivesCBS confirmed last Tuesday what we already knew: The Amazing Race 11 will be an all-star race.
The race “began last week in Miami and will premiere in first-quarter 2007,” according to Variety. (Last week means the week of the 13th.)
The story confirms several cast members, including overexposed assholes Rob and Amber, and this season’s David and Mary. Also on board: Amazing Race 7 winners Joyce and Uchenna, who beat Rob and Amber. Sadly, the Weavers apparently won’t be showing up to give us another season of maddeningly fun hypocrisy. That’s because “[m]ost editions of the ‘Race’ are expected to be represented on the all-star edition, save for the much-panned family edition.”
Variety also notes that Chip and Kim won’t be participating, although they already made that perfectly clear.
