The Amazing Race 10 debuts Sunday

The 10th season of The Amazing Race kicks off on Sunday, its new night. The show debuts at 8:30 p.m. ET on Sunday with a 90-minute premiere, and then moves to its regular time of Sundays at 8.

This is a season of change for the series, as it features a more diverse cast, new locations, and a more difficult route.

Just five years ago, the show was airing its first season, which debuted just six days before Sept. 11 and suffered somewhat in the ratings as a result. But defying typical trends, the series grew in the ratings and earned a loyal following, at least until last fall’s disastrous family season.
