So says The Amazing Race’s executive producer Betram van Munster, who tells this week’s TV Guide that “getting permits for 44,000 miles is a lot of work” and “People who know each other are likely to be much harsher on each other.” He also talks about the challenge of remaining ahead of the cast as they raced from location to location.
