Jeff Probst’s romance with Survivor Vanuatu player Julie Berry is going well. So well, that Jeff calls her “the love of my life.” When the show was taping, he says that “she was playing around and I was harder on her than on [the other contestants] because I thought she was not delivering as much as I wanted. We were definitely not having our own little party out there.” But when they came back, the party began. Jeff also plays the “role” card and says that what we see on TV is not actually him, nor was Julie on TV the real Julie: “The person on Survivor is not the real me. I play a distinct role—a real hard-ass. And it was not the real Julie either; she was playing to win a million dollars. When I got to know her, I was blown away by the real wisdom of this woman.” By the way, although this is apparently Jeff’s first Survivor romance, he apparently uses the show as his own Friendster, as he “[has] made a few friends on the Survivor shows, like Colby and Savage.” He hasn’t talked to Mark Burnett about his romance, but says he thinks the producer “will say ‘I am really happy for you.’”
