Survivor Thailand twist: tribes chosen “just like in fifth grade dodge ball.”
The big Survivor Thailand twist revealed at the beginning of the show involved the selection of each tribe by two survivors. After the survivors introduced themselves, the two oldest survivors, Jan Gentry (53) and Jake Billingsley (61), acted as team captains and selected their tribes. As Jeff Probst pointed out, it was “just like in fifth grade dodge ball.” The two tribes were divided and most of the younger members ended up in Jake’s tribe. Later, the younger tribe, Sook Jai, won immunity; the Chuay Gahn tribe voted out John Raymond.
