Mark Burnett: tribes not split by sex.
Talking to reporters, Survivor Thailand producer Mark Burnett said “the tribes are not split along gender lines.” Beyond that, he only says that “[t]he first five to eight minutes are a very new beginning to the show,” adding that “the way the tribes are even chosen is a very new way of doing it.” Also, he discusses the physical confrontation that occurs during a challenge in the third episode; “for the first time, we allowed physical contact in a challenge” and that led to things getting “a little out of hand,” Zap2it.com reports. In another interview, Jeff Probst said that the contestants were more aggressive, even toward him.
