24 million watched finale; Clay still baffled about racism accusation.
More than 24 million people watched Survivor Thailand’s finale Thursday, but that was about a million fewer than watched the finale of Survivor Marquesas. Also, runner-up Clay Jordan says the accusation by tribemate Ted that he was a redneck racist “hurt, because I didn’t do it.” Clay tells the Amarillo Globe-News that neither Ted nor Helen could explain Ted’s comments, and says he thinks Ted made it up because “Ted was outsmarted, and he didn’t like that.”
