Survivor crew: “We come in, and we want to take over.”
For the Survivor Thailand production and other shoots, the crew’s “demands are enormous. … We come in, and we want to take over,” the show’s locations manager tells the Philadelphia Enquirer. In Thailand, impact on the area was already apparent before the production arrived: the paper reports that “debris washed up with every tide” that had to be collected and recycled. After the cast and crew left, officials didn’t notice any damage; the only thing they seemed to have left behind was $4.5 million in the local economy.
