God’s intervention brings Survivor its most viewers since last December

Survivor’s Jesus-fest episode earned the show its highest ratings since last December’s penultimate episode of Survivor Nicaragua.

While the show didn’t have much competition—other networks aired mostly repeats including Fox, which aired Glee repeats instead of the World Series—Survivor is on fire this season, and has managed to avoid its usual mid-season slump.

The show won its time slot with 11.79 million viewers, which was “its largest audience since last December’s Survivor: Nicaragua,” CBS said in a press release, noting that it also had its “best adult 18-49 rating since its initial episode.”
