Jeff Probst directing a feature film about an adolescent girl
Besides launching a daytime talk show and hosting two more seasons of Survivor, Jeff Probst will direct his second feature film. His first, Finder’s Fee (rent and watch for $3), was critically acclaimed.
His new film is Kiss Me, which Variety describes as a film about “a teenage girl through the physical and emotional growing pains of adolescence.” It was written by Deadwood and Lost writer Liz Sarnoff and stars John Corbett and Sarah Bolger.
Production begins in February. Assuming Survivor’s 25th season is filmed in March and April, as previously announced, that means it will be a quick production, and post-production might have to wait until after Probst returns, unless he does that on location.
