Archivessite stops Survivor betting after suspect wagers; Jeff told Jon to shut the f up.
BetWWTS.com suspended trading on Survivor Pearl Islands before it even debuted because of “a number of wagers all placed on the same contestant from newly opened accounts originating from Vancouver, British Columbia.” The site similarly stopped trading on Survivor Amazon after many people bet on Jenna and Matt, who turned out to be the final two players. Meanwhile, Jeff Probst continues to talk about this season, telling The National Post that he got in an argument with Jon and told him to “shut the eff up” on the first day. Jeff summarizes the season by saying it includes “[t]he greatest lie ever told on Survivor, the biggest regret—at least from my point of view—and probably the most impactful twist that we’ve ever done.”
