quitter Osten says “Mark Burnett quit on us by letting the Outcasts in.”
Discussing his history-making decision to quit Survivor Pearl Islands, Osten Taylor tells TV Guide that “Mark Burnett quit on us by letting the Outcasts in. So I [thought], ‘You know what? I’ll quit on him.” In a conference call with reporters reported by the Boston Herald, Osten says the twist was “garbage” that “messed with the entire integrity of the show.” Mark Burnett replied, “Here’s this big, huge guy who could kill me outside the game…and yet he cried about (the game) all the time.” Osten says Burnett’s decision not to show his final words was “a juvenile response,” but Burnett says they “simply didn’t add anything.” Osten also told reporters that he had “six staph infections on his chest and legs that severely weakened him and left him with scars he carries to this day,” but says he “will make a $1 million somewhere else in my life.”
