As Survivor Maps once again correctly identified, the next season of Survivor will stay in the south Pacific as the crew moves northwest to Palau. That’s not to be confused with Pulau Tiga, the island in Borneo where the first season took place. For Survivor Palau, Jeff promised that, “from the beginning, the game will be changed in a dramatic way. Everything the survivors have come to expect will be wiped out in the first 10 minutes.” One of those changes: There will be two more players than this season, for a total of 20; most seasons have featured just 16. Some reports have the new season airing as early as February, although some analysis suggests that it could be late March or even April.
