Hotel that says it’ll host Survivor “guests visiting the contestants” is open to the public

A hotel in Nicaragua that says it will house “guests visiting the contestants” is also open to the public during taping for the 21st and 22nd seasons of Survivor.

The show is currently filming its 21st season, and the Morgan’s Rock Hacienda and Ecolodge has issued a press release to announce “special rates” for the next few months during the time when “guests visiting the contestants during their ordeal are expected to stay at Morgan’s Rock.” That would presumably mean family members, though it’s possible it refers to CBS officials, media, or others visiting the production, as it’s typical for the production to use more than one hotel facility.

If you want to go to scope it out, the hotel says its “[s]pecial rates for the period from June to October, 2010, including 3 meals a day with non-alcoholic beverages, tax and service plus a daily tour, will start at $258 per person in a double.” The hotel is located north of San Juan Del Sur, the city closest to the production.
