Friends wins again, beating Survivor by around 4 million viewers.
While the premiere of Survivor Marquesas beat the series average of Survivor Africa by 8 percent, 12 percent more viewers watched the Africa debut, and NBC’s Friends easily beat it by 4 million viewers. Even the show that followed Survivor Marquesas on CBS had better ratings, with CSI pulling its highest numbers ever, 28.74 million viewers.
