The two tribes merged on Survivor Marquesas, after ambassadors Rob and Kathy met to create a new tribal name (Soliantu) and flag. At that meeting, Rob told Kathy that her original tribe planned to vote her out first, and later openly confronted Zoe, John, and others about their alliance. But his strategy didn’t work; after Kathy won immunity, Rob was voted off the island. At tribal council, Jeff Probst introduced a new rule: the owner of the immunity necklace now has the ability to give it away to buy a vote or protect a friend. Earlier, Sean revealed that he and John “[had] shared moments that have nothing to do with the game” by talking about what “it’s like to be a black man, and what it’s like to be a gay man, and what it’s like to be isolated.”
