An AP story about Jeff Probst and his (former contestant) girlfriend Julie Berry announces that Survivor Fiji “begins in February” in its second-to-last paragraph, as The Baltimore Sun’s Sarah Kickler Kelber noticed. CBS has yet to announce a specific date, however, and does not yet even have a web site for the upcoming season.
The rest of the story updates us on Jeff’s relationship with Survivor Vanuatu contestant Julie Berry, and they are still together. Over the holidays, in Portland, Maine, the couple “served Christmas dinner at a soup kitchen and were spotted the following day shopping at a Target store,” the AP reports. At the store, he and Julie “mingled with customers and posed for pictures.”
