Survivor China betting suspended after “multiple accounts were linked” to CBS

A betting site suspended betting on Survivor China late last month because CBS employees have been betting on the show’s outcome, and similar bets in the past have revealed the show’s finalists.

This time, Bodog says that “multiple accounts were linked back to the television network behind the show’s production, and the bets were on” three cast members, whose names I did not read, because I actually like watching Survivor without knowing who’s going to win. (The series began letting the jury vote on a final three last fall, and presumably that will continue this season.)

Bodog blames “network employees trying to make a quick buck.” Of course, no one knows which one of those finalists will win until the live finale, scheduled this year for Dec. 16.
