Survivor Amazon’s Daniel, a former Tough Enough finalist, has malaria.
Daniel Lue, who on last week’s premiere episode of Survivor Amazon was unable to crawl across a balance beam, has been diagnosed with malaria despite having taken malaria pills before and after his Amazon experience. Daniel, who was a finalist on MTV’s Tough Enough, is being treated with quinine and is now “resting comfortably at home.”
