After 38 million votes were cast, more than American Idol’s record 28 million, Rupert Boneham walked away from Survivor All-Stars’s America’s Tribal Council with $1 million. The three others with the highest number of votes were Colby, Tom, and Boston Rob, although Rupert received an amazing 85 percent of the vote. Colby walked away empty handed, but he landed the title of sexiest male, based upon votes at CBS.com. Sexiest female honors went to Amber, and Rubert and Jon Dalton’s conflict was named the best fight. Dalton, who was in the audience decked out in a suit, ugly tie, and hair that clearly hasn’t been washed since he left the Pearl Islands, was named the series’ best villian. The best moment ever? Rupert’s theft of shoes at during the first episode of Survivor Pearl Islands. At the end of the hour, which also included a little more drama, the site of the next season was revealed. Confirming Survivor Maps’ prediction, Jeff Probst announced that the ninth season will take place in the South Pacific, relatively close to Australia.
