Survivor All Stars

Amber: “They were idiots for not getting rid of me or him, every single week.”

Amber: “They were idiots for not getting rid of me or him, every single week.”
Survivor All-Stars winner Amber Brkich says what we were all thinking: “They were idiots for not getting rid of me or him, every single week.” The “him” she speaks of is, of course, her now-fiance Rob. She tells USA TODAY, “It was so obvious. They thought we were caught up in each other more than the game. They were wrong.” Rob tells the Boston Herald, “Feelings got hurt. They can’t handle the fact they got beat. It’s sad for me because it cost me a million bucks.” USA TODAY also reports that, as of yesterday, 3.6 million people have already voted to give a Survivor $1 million. Early ratings for the finale indicate that an average of 24.1 million people watched the first two hours, while an average of 25 million watched the reunion—although the finale technically spilled over into the 10 p.m. hour.
+ update: 28 million watched the conclusion, and Survivor’s “highest adult 18-49 rating for a finale since “Survivor: Marquesas” in May 2002.”
